Description:
The 19th century wall mirror is constructed with a quality and genuine pine and sectional plaster frame, featuring a concave shape decorated with detailed, symmetrical carvings. The antique Victorian overmantle mirror is fitted with a new mirror plate, which is in excellent condition. The frame measures 3ft 1⅜” high x 2ft 9½” wide; therefore, it's of good proportions and would suit a large room. The antique mantel mirror can be hung either portrait or landscape (the hanging rope is currently set to landscape, but we can adjust this to portrait if preferred).
This large English Victorian wall mirror would look superb in the living room above a fireplace or mantelpiece, or in the hallway, as it is a well-proportioned mirror. This decorative antique wall mirror would certainly grace either a contemporary or traditional home and is a great investment, as it is extremely functional.

Condition Report:
This is a fine quality gold leaf antique mirror, with a top-quality decorative concave frame, circa 1850, in excellent condition. The gilt plaster is in excellent original condition. There are nominal old use marks to the leading edges of the frame, but nothing significant, given the age of the item and only add to the evidence of its history, age and story. The Victorian frame houses a new mirror plate, which is in very good condition. The metal hanging hooks and rope on the back of the mirror are new and therefore in excellent condition. This luxury antique mirror is ready to be used.
