George II Oak Three Drawer Cabriole Leg Dresser

Description

A stylish George II period figured oak country house three drawer dresser with cabriole legs c.1740. Figured oak top with moulded edge and underside of the surface edge, three drawers sat below each with matching figured timbers and moulded edges. Pegged joints to the surrounding frame and deep scalloped edge apron to the lower edge. Moulded cabriole legs set to each corner with straight legs to the rear, complimenting paneled ends to match the drawer fronts. Decorative embossed brass backplate handles.
