Antique George III Mahogany Tripod Table

An attractive and well-presented antique George III mahogany tripod table. The antique mahogany table has a circular solid mahogany top with a moulded edge, which is raised on a turned pedestal with a tripod base terminating in pad feet. The table retains its original tilt-top action, allowing the top to be raised upright when not in use. Excellent colour and patina throughout.

CONDITION REPORT:

Overall, the table is in good antique condition and remains structurally solid and sturdy. There is a historic crack running across the top, as shown in the photograph and a historic repair to the underside, with age and does not affect the table's strength or stability. The top also displays the expected age-related marks, surface wear and patina acquired over many years of use, all of which enhance its authentic character and appeal.
