A superb quality 19th-century Victorian partners desk, made using rich mahogany and featuring a newly hand-dyed green leather writing surface. This generously proportioned piece is both elegant and practical, designed to accommodate two people working face-to-face, making it ideal for a library, study, or home office.

The desk is presented in excellent condition and breaks down into three sections for ease of transport: the top and two pedestal bases. Each pedestal sits on discreet casters for convenient repositioning. One side of the desk is fitted with 9 drawers, all functioning smoothly with brass ring handles, while the opposite side features 2 cupboards with fitted shelves/dividers and arched panel doors, and 3 drawers along the top.

The unique green leather writing surface with gold tooled edging contrasts beautifully with the warm tones of the mahogany, which has developed a deep patina over time.
