Description

A lovely antique pine blanket box dating from the late 19th / early 20th century. It is well made with a brass escutcheon and metal carrying handles. It has its original metal strap hinges and the interior has a small lift-top candle box.

A good size for a coffee table, end of the bed storage or toy box.

It is in good condition for its age with a lovely patina. There are no major damages and the interior is generally clean and tidy. There are some signs of age and use, some small knocks, splits and minor marks but it still displays well. It has been cleaned and gently polished and is ready for use.
