Treasure Trove Worcester Ltd has dated this Antique Portrait Oil Painting to the 1900s.
J. S. Bary” and dating to the early 20th century, circa 1900.

The sitter is portrayed wearing a pale blue satin evening gown with feather boa and delicate jewellery, holding flowers before a richly draped golden background. The painting displays confident academic handling, with fine treatment of the flesh tones, satin fabric and feathered textures.

Signed lower left. Presented in an ornate gilt frame.
Offered in very good condition with rich and full colours. Some light craquelure and minor surface wear in line with age. The frame is handsome and presents well. Ready to hang.
