Mid Victorian Walnut Revolving Book Table

A fine quality early Victorian walnut book table with figured veneers and revolving book arms below c.1860. Circular top with figured veneers and moulded edge, rotating height adjustable candle holder to the side. The surface sat on a turned column with four revolving arms below; all with shaped edges to the centre and turned divisions to hold books. Turned baluster support to the bottom of the pedestal with three way foot below; bun feet to the underside with concealed castors. Superb quality with excellent detail throughout and presented in immaculate condition with a rich colour and patina. The books shown are for demonstration purposes only and not for sale. Smaller items are shipped by Royal Mail Special Delivery, which includes insurance for the item whilst in transit and a guaranteed tracked delivery.
