A lovely bed indeed, sturdy and attractive, this Edwardian super king bed is a lovely choice for those who prefer a more spacious feel in bed. Edwardian beds suit a wide variety of rooms and are timelessly desirable. Original lovely and classic brass caps add a touch if interest without being too ornate.

Fully restored to be sturdy, practical and beautiful. Whole frame cleaned, restored and tested for durability. All joints checked for secure fit. Shot blasted and primed prior to hand paint finish in Farrow and Ball’s Hague Blue, waxed over to protect and give a soft sheen. All of our beds can be re-painted in any colour of your choosing. Price includes wood slats (sorry not mattress). As an alternative to the wood slats, we can supply platform and sprung bed bases for superior mattress support and to raise the get into bed height.

The bed is photographed on a 2” bed base with two zip and linked Bordeaux mattresses. We can supply hand-made mattresses in all comfort choices, and also with zip and link connections - these join two mattresses together to create a larger size, perfect for those who want the grandeur of a larger bed, but have to navigate tight stairwells or corridors etc. Please see our web site or email for specifications and prices.

We have our own workshops located along side our showroom in a beautiful medieval barn seven miles south of Bristol.
