A Chippendale card table is an 18th-century folding table designed primarily for playing card games. Created during the Mid-Georgian period, these tables feature characteristic design motifs such as straight square legs, fretwork corner brackets, or cabriole legs, and often incorporate a fold-over top.

These tables were predominantly constructed from dense Cuban mahogany or Honduran mahogany. The internal framing often utilised secondary timbers such as oak, pine, or beech to construct the folding concertina hinge and inner rails.
