London City Antiques has dated this Victorian Tilt Top Table to the 1860s.
The warm figured mahogany displays a rich colour and natural grain throughout.

The table is raised on a substantial turned central column with carved oval detail above four bold scrolling supports. Each leg terminates in a discreet castor allowing the table to be moved with ease.

The top tilts vertically when not in use making the table practical to store against a wall while also displaying its decorative outline. When lowered it provides a useful dining surface and would also make an impressive centre table in a large entrance hall drawing room or reception area.

Condition report
In good original condition with minor marks and signs of use consistent with age and character. The table is solid, sturdy and functional with a good rich colour.
