An elegant antique Edwardian mahogany grandmother clock dating from circa 1900, beautifully crafted in the traditional English longcase manner and offering the timeless charm of a full-size grandfather clock in a compact, highly practical form.

Constructed from richly figured mahogany, the case displays a wonderful depth of colour and attractive natural grain, complemented by finely carved architectural detailing throughout. The beautifully shaped swan-neck pediment, fluted columns, carved shell motif and decorative mouldings create a refined and balanced silhouette, whilst the slim proportions make this an ideal clock for modern homes where space is at a premium.

The hood houses an attractive brass dial with engraved centre, Roman numeral chapter ring and decorative cast brass spandrels beneath a subsidiary boss, all framed by elegant turned columns.
