Antique Military Campaign Style Chest of Drawers / Sideboard

1920 - 1940
Description

A superb antique military campaign style chest of drawers / sideboard in mahogany. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1930’s.

It is of amazing quality and is a great size, with plenty of storage space inside the nine generous drawers. The mahogany has a gorgeous mellow colour tone, there are lovely brass mounts and brass military handles. The top and drawer fronts have cross banded edges, there is also an inset brass plaque in the centre of the top.

We have had this recently re-polished, the condition is excellent for its age. It has a wonderful overall patina, with just some minor wear remaining here and there beneath the polish.
