An antique Victorian silver plated drinks serving tray with integrated handles, a decorative gadrooned border and a green baize-covered underside.

This unusual antique tray has a softly rounded rectangular form with gently curved corners and a low-profile design. The polished silver plated surface is framed by a finely detailed gadrooned border, while the shaped handles are incorporated neatly into each end.

Unlike a conventional deep tea tray, this piece has an almost flat salver-style form. The underside is covered in green baize, allowing it to rest securely on a polished table or sideboard while helping to protect the furniture beneath.

A practical and decorative antique tray, ideal for serving drinks, displaying glassware or presenting a decanter set.

Condition

In good antique condition with surface marks, light rubbing and signs of wear consistent with age and use. The green baize to the underside shows age-related wear.
