A wonderful large slipware jug with a deep treacle glaze. Probably Buckley, Flintshire, North Wales.

In remarkable condition given its age. We have noted a chip on the inner rim and a hairline crack to the base as well as other age-related wear and tear. A great decorative piece and a real survivor.
