Andros Antiques has dated this French Mahogany Console Table to the 19th Century.

The large commodious drawer with shaped front that has a finely carved escutcheon, like the rest of the frieze is also veneered in figured Mahogany. The drawer is oak lined.
The whole piece is topped off with a light grey, with darker grey veining marble top that adds durability to the piece. The marble top has some small signs of wear and abrasions, to be expected for a piece of this age and are illustrated in the photos.

This table is of very good quality as can be seen by the oak framework that reveals itself when the marble top is removed. The drawer is free running but requires a little effort to work due to its large size and weight,

This Console Table would make a real statement wherever placed in the home, and the top offers a large robust area for display.
Supplied with working key for the drawer lock.
