Lancastrian Jewellers has dated this Sterling Silver Albert Chain to the Edwardian era.
The components are all original, made in Birmingham in 1910, at the end of the Edwardian era.
The chain was named after Prince Albert, who was said to have been fond of wearing watch chains. The Dog clip would have been used to attach a pocket watch or fob, and the T-Bar would go through the buttonhole of a waistcoat to secure it in place.

CONDITION
This antique silver Albert watch chain remains in excellent condition. The links show minor surface wear and natural antique patina. Having all original components makes this a desirable chain in fabulous condition.
