Description

A good antique pine chapel pew of traditional form, featuring attractive shaped ends and a panelled back above a solid plank seat. Retaining its original under-seat shelf and rear support rail for the storage of hymn books. Displaying a lovely light pine colour throughout with plenty of character and wear acquired through years of use.

CONDITION REPORT:

Good solid condition throughout. Structurally sound and sturdy. There is staining and wear to the seat and sides consistent with age and use, together with general marks, knocks and surface imperfections. Damage to one foot as photographed, though this does not affect the stability or strength of the pew.
