Articulated Silver Swordfish, C.1940

Description

A fine articulated of silver swordfish of good proportions, c.1940-50. Spanish. Spanish silver pentagram hallmark to one fin (.915 silver) and maker's hallmark to the other. For use as a letter opener, note spike or simply as a desk ornament.

The fish is finely made with excellent attention to detail throughout, boasting two green cabochon eyes. The articulation is in perfect working order.
