London City Antiques has dated this Victorian Mahogany Console Table to the 1850s.
It stands on four bold, finely turned baluster legs, each tapering gracefully towards the original brass cup castors. The generous overhang to the top and the substantial corner blocks create a pleasing sense of balance and solidity, whilst the elegant turned legs lighten the overall appearance, giving the table a timeless sophistication.

Freestanding and finished on all sides, this versatile piece can be used as a hall table, console table, serving table, sofa table or display table. The rich figured mahogany displays a beautiful warm colour and flowing grain with an excellent depth of patina developed over more than 170 years.

Condition: Excellent antique condition with a beautiful rich colour and patina. Minor age-related marks consistent with normal use. A solid, sturdy table ready for everyday use.
