Fine Quality Antique Kashan Carpet

1900 - 1920
Description

This is a stunning, fine quality Kashan prayer rug with a really good design, dating from the early 20th century, circa 1900. The rug has a rich warm red mihrab field and a beautiful urn with flowers flanked by columns. There are intricate foliate designs throughout and a deep indigo border. This is in super condition with a good even pile and no wear, just slight loss to the fringes at one end.

The carpet measures 210 cms by 140 cms.
