The English Interior has dated this Reverse Glass Mezzotint Print to the 18th Century.
He frequently depicted the Works of Mercy, sometimes combining them all onto a single panel or creating a series of individual scenes.

The print features characteristic elements of Vrancx's style, including architectural depth with classical columns and a pergola covered in greenery. The figures are dressed in period clothing, with an old man and others receiving food at the entrance of a substantial building, typical of his urban genre scenes.

This mezzotint is in a fine state of conservation and is housed in a quality ebonised frame with a sanded gilt slip.
Sheet Dimensions: 25cm x 35cm. Framed Dimensions: 49cm x 38cm.
