Harrington Antiques has dated this Georgian Leather Nautical Almanac to the 1800s.
Full leather binding. Blind-stamped decoration to both boards. Red leather title panel and gilt star decoration to spine.
There is some spotting to the preliminary pages and some browning but generally all pages are in good condition. Wholly readable, free from inscription and tears.

SYNOPSIS
This work was designed for use by sailors and astronomers and contained data on celestial bodies to determine longitude at sea. The work of this year was part of a larger series spanning from 1767-1831 and was overseen by the British Astronomer Royal, Nevil Maskelyne (1795-1811).
