Penderyn Antiques has dated this Victorian Walnut Davenport Desk to the Victorian era.
To the right-hand side of the desk there a series of drawers each with a pair of wooden knobs, with a set of dummy drawers to the opposite side The antique Davenport desk has decorative carved front corbels and is raised on four castors. A lovely example.

CONDITION REPORT:
In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks, scratches and minor losses to the veneer, including to the front right corner of the top of the writing slope. However, this does not detract from the overall appeal of the piece. The antique walnut Davenport desk remains structurally solid and sound, with the drawers running well. Overall, a good example of its kind.
