Moorcroft Spanish Pattern Vase

A superb early Moorcroft Spanish pattern vase signed William Moorcroft c.1914. Flared rim running to a narrow neck sat over a tall bulbous base, which is slightly flared at the foot. The outside of the vase decorated with two continuous bands of tube lined Chrysanthemums flowers, leaves and stems; one band below the rim and the other to the centre of the vase. Blue washed ochre ground with the flowers painted in soft reds and golden shade, all superbly painted with no runs. Signed William Moorcroft to the base green along with early Moorcroft, Burslem, England factory impression. Presented in excellent condition. For clocks and barometers bought from us, we also offer a setting up service by our trained personnel (local deliveries only).

Smaller items are shipped by Royal Mail Special Delivery, which includes insurance for the item whilst in transit and a guaranteed tracked delivery.

Packing and postage charges for mainland UK are shown for most items on this website. Where an item is large or requires specialist delivery, please contact us with your postcode for a specific door-to-door delivery quote.
