Description

A superb pair of early 20th century quarter-sawn oak sectional bookcases, presented in exceptional condition with a rich, warm colour and beautifully figured grain throughout.

Each bookcase is constructed in three sections, with two glazed sectional bookcase units above a lower cupboard enclosed by a pair of panelled doors. The glazed sections feature side-hinged framed glass doors, providing excellent display space for books or decorative objects, while the cupboards below offer generous concealed storage. The bookcases retain their original brass knobs, moulded cornices, and stand on turned front feet.
