Description

A lovely Edwardian mahogany display cabinet dating from the early 20th century. Crafted in solid Honduran mahogany, the cabinet features glass to the front and sides, allowing light to enter from multiple angles and providing an excellent showcase for decorative objects, collections, or retail displays.

The cabinet is fitted with adjustable glass shelves and retains a useful drawer concealed within the plinth base, offering additional storage. The substantial moulded cornice and stepped plinth give the piece an elegant architectural presence, while the rich mahogany timber has developed a warm, attractive patina over time.

Originally intended for displaying treasured possessions, this cabinet remains highly practical today and would sit equally well in a period home, retail setting, gallery, or private collection.
