Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.
Antiques are the ultimate green purchase. By choosing historical pieces over newly manufactured goods, you completely eliminate the carbon footprint of modern mass production while preserving exceptional, timeless craftsmanship.

A Georgian copper jug is a large liquid container crafted in Great Britain during the Georgian era, spanning from 1714 to 1830. These vessels were primarily used for transporting and serving water, cider, or ale in domestic households and taverns.

These jugs were constructed from beaten sheet copper with hand-brazed or dovetailed seams. The interiors were typically lined with tin to prevent chemical reactions between acidic liquids and the copper surface.

Authentic pieces feature signs of hand fabrication, such as irregular hand-riveted handles, visible brazed seams, thick heavy-gauge metal, and natural surface wear or minor indentations accumulated over centuries of use.

An antique copper jug serves as a striking centerpiece on a kitchen island or sideboard, particularly when used as a vase for rustic floral arrangements, dried botanicals, or seasonal greenery.

Dust regularly with a dry, soft cloth and polish gently with a specialized metal cleaner if a bright finish is desired, or leave unpolished to preserve the naturally aged patina. Avoid harsh chemical abrasive pads that can scratch the metal surface.
