Oundle School prize plate to pastedown dated 1926. Prize was awarded to ''H. H. H. Boehm'', who later became Lieutenant Colonel H.H.H. Boehm (O.B.E., T.D.), a British Army officer best known for commanding the 1st Battalion of the Buckinghamshire Regiment during World War II. He commanded the 1st Buckinghamshires in France following the Normandy invasion. His unit famously took up positions near Quistreham and guarded vital bridges over the River Orne.
