A late 19th century walnut parquetry, brass and mother of pearl inlaid tea caddy.
The caddy is of unusual design with brass and mother of pearl inlay very much in the art nouveau taste to both the top and escutcheon, contrasting with the crisp parquetry inlay to the front and top. The hinged top opens to reveal two lidded compartments, each lid boasting a tunbridge-style border.
Some light signs of wear commensurate with age but overall the caddy is in a very good condition indeed.
