Description

A substantial antique mahogany open bookcase of impressive proportions, standing on a plinth base beneath a moulded cornice. Constructed in richly figured mahogany with a panelled back and three adjustable shelves, offering ample storage and display space. The deep colour and attractive grain throughout give the piece considerable presence.

In fair antique condition overall and structurally sound. General age-related marks, scratches and wear throughout. Surface wear particularly evidence to the shelves from use. Some scuffs, knocks and losses to the plinth base, as photographed. Overall, a handsome and practical antique bookcase that presents well. Additional photos are available on request.
