Penderyn Antiques has dated this Welsh Oak Potboard Dresser to the 19th Century.
The drawers are framed with cockbeaded edges and fitted with later brass swan-neck handles, replacing an earlier set of wooden knobs. Above sits a well-proportioned three-shelf plate rack complete with original hooks, and fitted with brackets ready for wall fixing. Lovely rich oak colour and patina throughout; a very attractive example.

CONDITION REPORT
Condition Report
Presented in good antique condition with age-related wear throughout, including marks, scratches and knocks consistent with use. There is a loss to the cockbeaded edge of the rack and a crack to the cornice, as shown in the photographs. The brass swan-neck handles are later replacements for an earlier set of wooden knobs, as evidenced on drawer fronts. The dresser is solid and sturdy throughout. Overall, a lovely piece.
