London City Antiques has dated this Satinwood Bow Front Cabinet to the 1890s.
The lower section displays particularly striking satinwood veneers, including a beautifully figured oval panel to the centre and geometric inlaid panels to the bowed sides.

The interior is fitted with two glass shelves and offers ample space for displaying porcelain, silver, glassware or treasured collections. Display cabinets such as this would originally have been found in the finest Victorian drawing rooms and dining rooms where they were used to showcase valuable possessions whilst protecting them from dust.

A highly decorative cabinet of elegant proportions, retaining a wonderful colour and warm patina throughout.
