Antique Mahogany Chest of Drawers with Floral Inlay Details

A large early 19th century mahogany chest of drawers with beautiful floral inlays enhanced with penwork, and moulded triple column details to the corners. The oak lined drawers have slender cockbeads and their original brass handles. A very attractive piece of high quality antique furniture.

The areas of inlay on this chest of drawers are just lovely - very fine and with detail and colour enhanced by penwork. The turned column detail to the corners suit it perfectly and are another very attractive feature.

Condition: The chest has general wear, including some marks to the top and some damage to the cockbeads - some of this has been repaired/replaced. The handles appear to be original and all the drawers open and close smoothly. The only flaw to the piece if the bracket feet which are not the original feet.
