From the library of Richard Taylor (1781-1858), an English naturalist and printer of scientific journals. He became the joint editor of the Philosophical Magazine in 1822. Richard Taylor''s name is inscribed to the flyleaf and notes to the preliminary pages in the same hand. Provenance slip to the interior identifying the same. Flyleaf loose but present.
