Description

A classic Hamadan with a central medallion surrounded by a herati field. The main border is mirrored in the two minor borders that surround it. Hamadan rugs are the staple of the rug dealer and very useful furnishing pieces as they are robust and unlike many oriental rugs they always lie flat. This is an attractive example in a useful size and I think it would grace any room.

Good condition with just a little wear to the central field.
