Description

West persia,first quarter of the 20th century.

Another country house/shabby chic rug in that desired condition.

West persian weaving with a central honcha medallion pattern on a sand coloured ground.

As with all my rugs even these cheaper ones been hand washed & de-dusted,last images.

Has obvious wear evident from images,minor end loss and side cord wear and loss.

That said with the look & cheaply priced

6 foot 7 inches by 4 foot 4 inches. 202cm X 132cm. At widest points. Fringes and selvedge not measured in size. Wool pile hand knotted onto cotton foundations.
