Sherwin & Cotton was a British tile manufacturer active in Hanley, Staffordshire, renowned during the late Victorian and Edwardian eras for producing monochrome photographic-style relief tiles depicting portraits, animals, and landscapes.

These tiles were created by pressing clay into detailed metal moulds to create variable relief depth, which was then coated in a translucent glaze that accumulated thicker in deeper recesses to form monochromatic tonal shading.
