Introduced during the Roaring Twenties, glass car mascots were commissioned as luxury radiator ornaments for high-end automobiles. Rene Lalique produced 29 distinct car mascot designs between 1925 and 1931, ranging from speed gods and archers to falcons and dragonflies.
