Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.
Antiques are the ultimate green purchase. By choosing historical pieces over newly manufactured goods, you completely eliminate the carbon footprint of modern mass production while preserving exceptional, timeless craftsmanship.

Victorian watercolour landscapes are characterised by detailed depictions of rural life, natural scenery, and agricultural themes, reflecting the eras appreciation for pastoral traditions amidst rapid industrialisation.

Artists typically used water-based pigments applied to cotton or linen rag paper, housed in hand-carved wood and gesso frames finished with gold leaf gilding.

Authentication involves evaluating artist signatures, assessing natural paper age features such as foxing or toning, and analysing historical framing techniques.

Position framed watercolours above traditional furniture pieces, alongside muted wall colours or paired with classic brass accents to accent contemporary spaces.

Keep watercolours away from direct sunlight and fluctuating humidity, utilising UV-filtering glass and acid-free mounting materials to prevent fading and discolouration.
