William IV Rosewood Teapoy

A superb William IV period rosewood teapoy with original fitted interior complete with mixing jars c.1830. Fine figured rosewood throughout with cushion moulded top and moulding to the edges of the caddy section. Sat on circular pedestal with acanthus leaf carved decoration to the base. The circular base with carved scroll feet below with small concealed castors to the undersides. The lid opening to reveal an original fitted interior with two mixing jars and four removable caddies, which have hinged lids to the tops.
