The English Interior has dated this Giltwood Overmantel Mirror to the 19th Century.
Crammed full of carved, moulded and fluted giltwood classical elements ( see images)

A central swag hangs either edge of the mirror glass on the top section and two further floral and bud drops feature at the sides.
Supported on shaped platform base with a further decorative arrangement of scrolling acanthus leaves to the sides, all in high relief.

This mirror would suit either a classical masculine interior or a feminine and romantic one making it a most useful addition to most interior schemes.
The mirror glass itself is also antique , giving a delightful set but clear selection with very minor foxing and wear mentioned for accuracy only.
The frame itself refinished sympathetically in an antique gilt painted finish
