Russell of Liverpool Victorian 8 Day 14" Fusee Dial Clock

A superior quality Victorian mahogany cased 8 day single fusee wall clock by highly regarded maker Thomas Russell & Sons, fully serviced and working c.1885. The mahogany case with moulded surround to the dial, and matching back box with access doors to the side and base. The original painted 14" dial with Roman numerals and makers name. The hinged glazed door with brass bezel sat over the dial and blue steel hands. Single fusee movement with wire drive and anchor escapement. Thomas Russell was regarded as one of Liverpool's best clock makers and produced high quality clocks and chronometers, and held the Royal warrant for clock maker to Queen Victoria. This example is presented in superb original condition with a rich patina to the case and is fully serviced and working. Sold with a 12 month guarantee. For clocks and barometers bought from us, we also offer a setting up service by our trained personnel (local deliveries only).

Smaller items are shipped by Royal Mail Special Delivery, which includes insurance for the item whilst in transit and a guaranteed tracked delivery.

Packing and postage charges for mainland UK are shown for most items on this website. Where an item is large or requires specialist delivery, please contact us with your postcode for a specific door-to-door delivery quote.

EUROPE AND WORLDWIDE

Through our trusted international shippers we will source the most competitive quote for delivery to your door. All items are wrapped and packed by the specialist shippers.

We are happy to make initial arrangements for worldwide shipments on your behalf. However, please note that the shipping payment is made by you the customer directly with the shippers.
