Leeds Antiques has dated these Georgian Mahogany Dining Chairs to the Georgian era.
All six chairs stand on square, tapering legs united by H-stretchers, providing strength and stability while maintaining the clarity of the design. Provincial in character, the set is well made and of pleasing, practical proportions, making it well suited for use as a dining suite.

The chairs have been re-upholstered and are very serviceable, offering good comfort for everyday use while allowing the quality of the mahogany frames and their naturally developed surface to remain the focus.
