Edwardian Solid Oak Gateleg Dining Table

Description

A large solid oak gateleg dining table with drop leaves, turned legs and stretchered base.

A very substantial piece with excellent grain, warm colour and a strong traditional look. The drop leaf design makes it practical for flexible use, opening out to form a generous dining table and folding down when less space is needed.

A solid, heavy quality oak table suitable for a kitchen, dining room, farmhouse interior, cottage, shop display or large hallway. Very well made and extremely heavy — definitely not one of the flimsy ones.

Condition

Good used condition with age-related marks, surface wear, knocks and signs of use to the top, edges, legs and base. Some colour variation and wear to the finish, mainly visible on the tabletop, all in keeping with age and use.

Solid and sturdy. The table is very heavy.
