An oval scrub top table on bobbin turned legs and stretchers, with a single gate to each end.
English, the base is 18th century with well worn stretchers, the top 19th century.
The scrub top is unpolished making it ideal for kitchen use, it can be wiped clean with a wet cloth or brush (hence scrub top), no need to worry about coasters or mats, marks left a result of use either add to the character of the table, or can be scrubbed out again, red wine included.
