Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.
Antiques are the ultimate green purchase. By choosing historical pieces over newly manufactured goods, you completely eliminate the carbon footprint of modern mass production while preserving exceptional, timeless craftsmanship.

Edwardian bronze sculptures produced between 1901 and 1910 often depicted narrative or naturalistic scenes, including children, domestic animals, and classical figures. These works reflected a movement towards softer, detailed representations compared to the heavier forms of the preceding Victorian era.

Edwardian bronzes were typically cast using the lost-wax (cire perdue) process or sand casting methods. The metal surfaces were finished with chemical patination to achieve various shades of brown, green, or warm metallic tones.

Authentic period bronzes display detailed hand-chasing, naturally worn patina along high points, and substantial physical weight. Inspection of the underside often reveals historical casting marks, seam lines, or foundry stamps.

Antique bronzes add tactile contrast and historical character when arranged on a mantelpiece, bookshelf, or executive desk. Pairing them alongside dark woods, marble surfaces, or contemporary artwork creates a balanced, layered aesthetic.

Dust the sculpture regularly using a soft, dry lint-free cloth or soft brush. Avoid liquid metal polishes and harsh chemicals, and apply a light coat of clear microcrystalline wax annually to maintain and protect the surface patina.
