Bushells Antiques has dated this Victorian Brass Carriage Clock to the 19th Century.
The white enamel dial displays black Roman numerals for the hours and an outer track for minutes, with blued steel spade-shaped hands.

The rear of the clock features a hinged brass door that opens to reveal the movement. The backplate is stamped with the retailer mark T. Martin & Co. Paris and the serial number 3058. The mechanical movement is an 8-day striking type that sounds the hours and half-hours on a circular steel gong. Two square winding arbors are present for the time and strike functions, alongside a central arbor for hand adjustment and a regulation scale marked S and F.
