Bushells Antiques has dated this French Brass Carriage Clock to the 19th Century.

The clock is fitted with an 8-day spring-driven movement and a repeating strike, sounding the hours and half-hours on a coiled gong with a clear tone.
The backplate is engraved “PARIS” and “HANDS”, with a working fast/slow regulator.

Serial number 25778 is stamped to both the movement and base.
Complete with original swing handle and standing on brass feet.
