Rare Original 18thc Venetian " Lacca" Wall Mirror

Description

A real rarity. A real 18thc venetian " lacca" wall mirror the frame in completely original condition, the mirror replaced .

It measures 70cms h by 40cms w and is decorated with the italian version of far eastern figures etc

We are dating as around 1780 but could be earlier.

The biggest suprise is its condition slightly faded but completely intact!

The only tiny loss of lacquer is pictured but it is not visible looking straight on .

A great item probably from a great house of the era whose owners embarked on the " grand tour" of europe
