Salisbury Antiques Centre has dated these Victorian Inlaid Walnut Footstools to the 1860s.
Raised on neat ceramic feet, the stools have a pleasing low profile and attractive classical form.

The upholstered tops are covered in what appears to be an older floral needlework/tapestry fabric, lending warmth and character, with a softly timeworn country house aesthetic. Whether retained as they are for a relaxed traditional look or reupholstered to suit a new interior scheme, they offer excellent versatility.
Wonderfully useful decorative pieces, ideal as footstools, fireside stools, dressing room seating, or even as occasional accent pieces in a sitting room or bedroom.
